Hi there! I’m Kaitlyn Gardner, a Social Media Marketing Specialist based in the Greater Phoenix area. This portfolio showcases my work in this role, with a focus on organic social strategy and brand storytelling.
Work
I’m currently a member of the Organic Social Media Team at Serta Simmons Bedding, where I create and publish content across four national brands: Tuft & Needle, Serta, Beautyrest, and Simmons.
With nearly nine years of hands-on experience in social media, I bring a strong foundation to customer engagement, brand storytelling, and platform strategy.
I began my career in social customer care before transitioning to a marketing role, and along with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Delaware, I also hold a Digital Marketing Professional Certificate from San Diego State University.
In addition to my work experience, I have dedicated the past three years to volunteering with local organizations, helping them grow their online presence through social media.

Volunteer work
In addition to my professional experience, I was appointed the Head of Media for the Ice Denettes Synchronized Skating program in Chandler, AZ. I create content for social media posts, grow their following, and spread awareness about their organization.
I was also a previous volunteer for Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary, a senior dog rescue located in Scottsdale, AZ. I wrote social media copy, updated Instagram posts, and planned content for events and fundraisers.
